Payments and Invoices
Tream handles all invoicing and buyer payments on your behalf.
What is Stripe?
Stripe is the industry-leading payment processing service. Tream Marketplace uses their services to handle payment processing and financial transactions securely.
Onboarding to Stripe
To receive payments, you must complete a form on the site in the Stripe area. This is a straightforward process that can be completed in a few minutes. It is required so that our payments provider: Stripe, can verify your identity and ensure the status of your business.
You must register with Stripe to receive your payouts.
- Navigate to the Stripe section from the left menu.
- You will be directed to the onboarding page. If the page doesn’t load within 10 seconds, please refresh your browser.
- Stripe will request authorization via a popup window. Please follow the security verification steps carefully.
- Upon successful account creation, you will be redirected to our platform to complete your business information.
- After submitting all required details, you will be taken to the payouts and balance dashboard.
The dashboard is currently under maintenance and after filling our the onboarding you will see an error. Once you have completed the onboarding forms, know that your account is created.
- Additional identity verification through Stripe may be required to finalise your registration.
How does invoicing work?
During each market cycle, our system generates invoices for all buyers who placed orders with your business.
Invoices become visible in your dashboard following administrative approval. These approved invoices are then distributed to buyers according to the administrator-defined schedule.
For your convenience, all invoices are consolidated into a single “transfer” that will be scheduled for deposit into your account at a future date as determined by the payment processing timeline.
How do I pay the admin’s fee?
We will generate invoices between you and the administrator. If you owe money, this will be deducted from any transfer that is due. In a transfer, you will be able to see:
- How much you are owed.
- How much you owe.
- Your net transfer.
- All associated invoices.
When do I get paid?
When a transfer is scheduled, the money will be moved from our account into your Stripe account. The funds can take 1-2 days to clear, after which, they will be paid out according to the payout schedule you have set with Stripe.
